Bacalhôa – The visit associates Wine, Nature and Art.
From the ancient olive trees transplanted from the Alqueva dam to the Adega gardens, to the interior of the premises, the route does not stop surprising.
In the interior, more than 2,500 barrels for aging Moscatel Setúbal fit with the largest private collection of tiles in Portugal, giving you the heritage of the company, with more than 80 years of history.
From vineyards to wine, you can also go through the entire winemaking process.
The visit passes through the vineyard, considered a garden, the winery, in a scenario that involves tradition and modernity perfectly integrated in a constantly evolving sector.
During the visit, you will have the opportunity to experience the basic steps of a wine tasting and to enjoy the pleasure of the tasting. From the tasting room, admire the tranquil setting of the Japanese Garden, in which part of the estate of the sculptor Niizuma and the Kaki tree, the great-granddaughter of the only tree surviving the Nagasaki bomb, is exposed.
