Belas Clube de Campo

It was in 1997 that André Jordan, considered by many to be the ‘Father of Tourism in Portugal’, launched Belas Clube de Campo – a residential community 15 minutes from the center of Lisbon, where he incorporated all the experience acquired in the creation and development of upscale tourism projects such as Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura XXI. More than building spaces, André Jordan creates communities and the Belas Country Club / Lisbon Green Valley is an excellent example of this.
750 families of 27 nationalities currently live in Belas Clube de Campo, about 2,500 residents, with the lowest density in a European capital.
Set in over 1000 hectares of the Serra da Carregueira forest, Belas Clube de Campo is served by public transport and is one of the locations in the Lisbon region with the best access to central areas of the city, characterized by the diversity of cultural offer and historical, but also commercial and leisure. Examples are Lisbon Airport, Colombo Shopping Center, Sintra’s Old Town, Praça do Comércio and Baixa-Chiado, or even the inviting beaches of Cascais.
The resort has a range of services that include, gym, spa, swimming pools, mini market, hairdresser, laundry, post office, restaurants, playground, tennis courts, football and one of the most renowned golf courses in Portugal. Also noteworthy was the opening in 2019 of the João de Deus kindergarten, with Portuguese-English teaching and valences from kindergarten to 6th grade.
The Master Plan of Belas Country Club was designed by North American planners Robert A. M. Stern. and Charles Franzman.
Among the many architects with projects in the resort are: Aldo Dias, Diogo Lima Mayer, Eduardo Capinha Lopes, Frederico Valsassina, Luis Costa, Luis Patrício Gonçalves, Jose Guedes Cruz, Jose Teixeira Gomes, Pedro dos Santos, Pedro Silva Lopes, and Thiago Bradell.
Recently André Jordan Group launched a new stage of Belas Clube de Campo, the Lisbon Green Valley, with a diversified offer of apartments and townhouses by renowned architect Eduardo Capinha Lopes, and lots for housing construction, totaling 366 units.
