Clube de Golfe de Cantanhede

The Cantanhede Golf Course was inaugurated on the 5th September of 2009, and is part of a Sportive Complex in Cantanhede. This town is located in the center of a strategic triangle formed by the secular university city of Coimbra, by the seaside resort of Figueira da Foz, whose beaches are very frequented by national and foreigner tourists, namely from Spain, and by Aveiro one relevant commercial and industrial centre also Known as the “Portuguese Venice”.
The teaching area has a driving range with 10 boxes in cage net, a pitching-green, a putting green with about 600 m2 and a special training zone for long shots.
The playing and competition area consists of a nine-hole Pitch & Putt (P & P) field according to the standards defined by IPPA – International Pitch and Putt Association, complying with the rules issued by FPG (Portuguese Golf Federation) on 2017.
In the Golf Course the greens are in natural grass, installed on 2017.
The “Campo” has twenty points of exit, allowing to play alternative routes from 1200m to 1930m.
Users can enjoy a clubhouse with a Bar and toilet facilities.
The “Campo” is an integral part of the Cantanhede Sportive Complex, which also has three football pitches; is located about three minutes by car from the city center, and with easy bicycle and public transport access, close to the Biocant Park- International Center of Biotechnology.
