Located in southern Portugal, Vilamoura has one of the best climates in the world and therefore provides perfect sailing conditions. The Marina is the ideal starting point to discover the south of Portugal, Europe or simply the local caves which are only accessible by boat.
Vilamoura Marina was constructed in 1974, and was something of a pioneer in Portugal. Over the last four decades the Marina has been recognised as one of the best in the world by its customers. In 2017, the Marina earned the title “INTERNATIONAL MARINA OF DISTINCTION: 2015-2017″ by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA).
Vilamoura Marina has 825 berths for boats ranging from 6 to 60 meters. The Marina’s adjoining beaches have been granted the ‘Blue Flag’ along with ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications. Besides its impressive certifications, the Marina has received multiple national and international awards such as the 5 Anchor Award, Portugal Best Marina and International Marina of the Year.
Possessing a fully working shipyard, Vilamoura Marina can offer maintenance services to its users and has close to 100 companies located on-site. This diverse range of companies can provide upholstery, awnings, cold technique, hull painting, general ship maintenance, brokerage, gel coating, electricity and housekeeping. The Marina also provides 24-hour security, mariner services and free Wi-Fi access.
During the year, several events occur in and around the Marina, including the Carnival Regatta and Boat show.
